I was given the opportunity by the author, Deborah G. Ross
to review this Bible study and I am so happy I had the chance to do so. This Bible study is based on the Book of Ruth
in the Bible. This Bible study centers
on the relationships; the relationship between Naomi and Ruth and their
relationship and faith to God.
This Bible study is so rich in taking the themes found within
the Book of Ruth. Deborah Ross and her
contributors take you through a series of themes, New Beginnings, Choosing Life,
The Home, and Leaning on God. Through
these series there are topics such as Forgiveness, Marriage, and Godly
Character are explored using the example of these two faithful women. The Bible study has poignant and
soul-searching questions to the reader/group of the Bible study that really
allow for exploration of Scripture, God’s promises, and how we can reflect on
our lives within these contexts.
I can honestly say I learned so much from this Bible
study. It was well-written and paced
very well. Deborah Ross and her
contributors are gifted Bible teachers and I would recommend their Bible
studies.
