Someone Like You Review

Someone Like You

Author:  Victoria Bylin
Publisher:  Bethany House
Pages:  336
Audience:  Women
Genre:  Fiction/Contemporary Romance

Someone Like You is a beautiful story told of two people, Julia Dare and Zeke Monroe who meet again after their relationship came to an end in college.  Julia Dare is a new Christian with a four year old son, Max.  Julia is dealing with many conflicts in her life and leans on her newfound faith to guide her through the challenges she faces.

Zeke Morgan, is the manager of Caliente Springs in California.  Zeke is also going through his fair share of struggles.  Zeke, who has been a Christian for most of his life, is severely struggling with his faith and finding his way back.  Zeke is also struggling to keep Caliente Springs from getting sold due to lack of business.  One fine day, Julia has an assignment that involves her going to Caliente Springs and Zeke and Julia meet again.  Together these two discover many things about themselves, their faith, and each other.

I can honestly say that this has been one of my favorite books of this year.  Victoria Bylin really knows how to create characters with depth and substance.  As the reader, you will feel like you are truly taking the journey with Zeke and Julia; these characters are very relatable.

I would recommend picking up this book; you won’t regret it.

Happy Reading!
