Faith of Our Fathers
DVD Review
FlyBy Promotions has given me the opportunity to review a
movie this month. The movie is called
Faith of Our Fathers and is on DVD right now.
This movie is the story of two men, John Paul George and
Wayne Adams. The movie starts with John Paul
George looking through his garage and finds a box of his father’s things from
the Vietnam War. Within this box is a
letter that leads John Paul to embark on a journey to find out who his father
was. This journey leads him to Wayne
Adams, whose father Eddie Adams served alongside John Paul’s father. John Paul and Eddie set out to Washington,
D.C. to see the names of their fathers on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial
Wall. However, this trip to Washington,
D.C. has more in store than the pair realizes.
I truly enjoyed the message of this movie and would
recommend it. I found that the beginning
of the movie is a bit rushed but the movie does reach a stride that truly
engages you in the lives of these characters.
The message is a strong and poignant one. This movie is good for the entire family.
